To all Domestic Relations practitioners, the Chesterfield Police Department has requested that the Bar Association notify you of the following policy:

"We have had an increase in citizens calling stating that their attorney told them to call the police department and hire an officer to standby while they move items out reference to domestic property settlements. According to department policy, officers are not to work off duty while providing security for any property settlement as a result of a civil process or domestic strife."
